I will be both teaching and attending several tool shows in 2026. Here they are, in order of occurrence:
- March 6-7, 2026. Lie-Nielsen event hosted by Kansas City Woodworkers Guild. Kansas City, Missouri.
- March 20-21, 2026. Lie-Nielsen event hosted by the Chicago School of Woodworking. Chicago, Illinois.
- May 26-30, 2026. Making Side Escapement Planes at Marc Adams School of Woodworking. Indianapolis, Indiana.
- September 4-5, 2026. Handworks. Amana, Iowa.
I will have a full selection of my tools at each show to demonstrate, and whatever inventory I have in stock for sale. This is a great opportunity to ask questions and put my tools to use. Events are all free and open to the public.
During the class at Marc Adams each student will make a pair of hollow and round planes, and also a rabbet plane as time allows. The school sis a wonderful venue for learning and camaraderie with other woodworkers. More details about the class can be found on my website at this link.
